Day 62 : 23rd July, 2012- Podgorica, Montenegro to Bel-grade(Serbia)

I have completed Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.  In my 60 days of travel, I don’t know how the time has passed.  I felt as if I was travelling eternally.  Zorica told me that the Goran family house had been used by travelers of different countries; he even told me that the other Indian also stayed  on the ground floor who  was doing business in tea. The place was very convenient; 2 minutes’ walk from the Bus Station and right opposite to the Railway Station.  I had a good sleep and had wake up at 6.30 a.m. only.  I went out for a walk. The air was cool and fresh.  Last night it was windy.

I walked to the Railway Station and  sat for a cup of Nescafe at the restaurant.  In fact I asked for black tea which was on the menu but they did not have it, so I changed my order to coffee for 1.50 Euro. Goran told me to come up to use their bathroom in 15 minutes.  The ground floor bathroom was used by the other people staying in the other rooms and was not clean.  Upstairs, Zorica gave me his laptop. His wife seemed to be a nice woman. After a shower, I felt hungry. I returned the laptop to Goran’s mother and went out. At a bakery nearby, I bought a good cheese Patty with a cup of Yoghurt. For 1 Euro, it was good lunch. I then went to old city and the city centre.  There was nothing interesting.  It was hot - 33⁰C.  I returned back.  In between, I shopped at Goran’s shop.

Goran came home and he gave his laptop to me.  It is nice of these two young people to be so kind and helpful.  I took some rest.  It was 5 p.m. and my train was scheduled at 9.45 p.m. Zorica promised to scan the remaining pages of my diary so that I could send them.

At 9.20 p.m., I was sitting at the Railway Station.  Train would come from Bar and then go to the Belgrade.

I had eaten in a Restaurant at the Bus Station.  It was Buffet.  Soup, Salad and Stuffed Paprika were good for E 5.60.  At 6.45 p.m.  I went to Goran’s Shop.  His brother and father were there.  I myself gave 5 Euro for today’s day stay.  Then I phoned from Zorica’s mobile to Zarco, CEO of Serbia YHA.  He has booked my accommodation at Sun Hostel and he will come to the station to receive me.  I paid 2 Euro for the use of the telephone.

Now waiting for the train.  I hope Zarcodoes not come at 7 a.m. which is the time of train’s reaching at Belgrade.

Zorica scanned my diary pages and sent them to me.  I don’t think anyone can read it.  I have to type it and then sent only.
10.15 p.m. Train still has not come. There are not many passengers also.  7-8 only. Train comes from another station ‘Bar’ and so passengers could come from there.
