9.00 a.m.: I am sitting in the lawn of this hostel which is a single storey big house. There are high rise buildings having residential flats all around. I have taken shower in the morning when no one has got up. Some persons have gone and one or two are getting ready to leave. During this trip, I found more girls travelling than boys. They also travel in a pair of two. Boys are usually alone.
Lost and Found: After having breakfast in the kitchen which was consisted of a big bun, a bread piece, cheese, jam and two big but thin pieces of meat and coffee, I came out to the market. There was fruit and dry fruit market. One small shopkeeper gave me kernel of a seed which was tasty. I walked and went to a street.
I saw some Romas sitting there. My Indian skin colour and features are similar to Romas. They were very happy to see me and tried to talk but I did not know Albanian language. I took some pictures and then walked further and found an exchange where I exchanged 70 dollars @ 111.50 lek and then went to vodaphone shop. I wanted to buy a sim card but did not find my mobile phone in my bag. It was in my pocket yesterday night. I searched everywhere and then came to the restaurant where I had dinner. They declined that there wasn’t any mobile. I thought I have probably left in the Big Rucksack. Anyhow I came back to the street near to the hostel and found an Internet shop. I sat there for 3 hrs and then went to the hostel. I searched all my baggage. Mobile was not there. Then I came to the bar where I had Reika. As I entered, one of the senior bearers immediately said that I forget my mobile. He, then, asked someone to give it to me. He has already inserted his sim card. So this is the story of lost and found. I had a beer over there and then went out to vodaphone store to purchase a new sim card.
S. Greenwood from HI has sent a mail that he would put my interview in Moribor, Slovenia during the Conference on Hiways and later on HI blog.
