Day 80 : 10th August, 2012- Bahrain to Delhi

This is a D. Day for me to reach back home after my own little adventure trip.  I am sitting at the Bahrain airport.  Flight came 20 minutes earlier at 5 a.m.  After security check, I went up to the departure lounge but found Gulfair desk will open at 6 a.m.  I waited and then the airline official gave me a breakfast coupon, maximum he could do for such long stay at airport.

This is a good airport.  Some big duty free shops are here. I sat in a big sitting area and slept for  an hour or so. When I got up I found it to be filled up with passengers from India, Nepal and Pakistan around me.  All were chatting in their mother tongue.  at 9 a.m I got up and found the breakfast area which is in a restaurant on 1st floor.  Breakfast was of omelette, 3-4 spoons of baked beans and three half done toasts with coffee.

I went to another sitting area which is empty, slept for some more time and then watching plane landing and leaving. I brushed my teeth in the morning and also brought razor in the small packsack. Now I was searching it when got a cut on one finger. Fortunately it is not much. This is the first time in the trip that this has happened at the fag end of the trip. Air pillow is useless as air is leaking and I threw it in dustbin.

I found free internet computers and checked mail and some of them replied also.

1.45 p.m.:  My flight is from gate no 32 which is in the basement. We will go by bus from here. Check in to the gate has started. This area is probably the most useless in the airport but a bit comfortable as it is warm.  The airport is very cold all the time and becomes irritating.
